About

DESIGN MEETING is an annual event which recognizes the work and achievement of MFA students graduating from the theatrical design programs at CalArts, NYU/Tisch, and Yale School of Drama. Affirming that design for the theater exists as part of an historical continuum—both defined by and continually revitalized through the essential collaborations between directors and designers—DESIGN MEETING is an introduction of a new generation of designers to the professional theatre community, an opportunity to forge new creative partnerships, and a strengthening of the foundational bonds upon which our art and art-form are built.
